30 years of experience

In 2016, we celebrated our 30th birthday. We’re no longer a fledgling company. We originated as a spin-off of the Spermalie Institute for blind and visually impaired school children (Bruges) and grew into one of Belgium’s leading companies manufacturing visual impairment aids for visually impaired and blind people.

Social integration remains a strong core value at our company. We discovered that our solutions for visual impairments could also be used for other purposes. As such, at the start of the 21st century we began making products specifically for reading and learning disabilities.

We not only carry out research and development each and every day, but we also actively apply our knowledge and share these insights with our customers. After 30 years, our aim is still to help our customers so their integration into society is not just an aspiration, but a reality at home, work and school.
